Walnut Taco Meat
The first time I ever had this recipe, a friend made it for a party at her house because she wanted to make sure there was something vegan for me. Bless her heart. ❤️ She served it up with fresh endive for dipping, and it totally blew my mind. The flavors, the textures, the mouth feel: it was all so spot on.
The wildest part about all of this is how dead simple the recipe is. It's literally 5 ingredients, requires no cooking, and is ready in about 5 minutes. It's delicious with chips and dips, sprinkled on tacos, or burried in a burrito. If you can work a food processor, you can do this!
Ingredients
- 1 cup raw walnuts
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprina
Instructions
- Put all the ingredients in the food processor
- Pulse the food processor until it's lookin' meaty
- Pat yourself on the back
